The Acropolis Daniela Acropora coral is a very exotic coral that gets even more colorful under Royal Blue LED lighting. Under sunlight or whiter light, branch tips are purple pink with turquoise colored stems. Polyps are dark red (see image at bottom of page). Put the coral under Royal Blue LED and it takes on brilliant Superman blue and red colors. Tips are bright red, while stems are bright blue. Polyps also appear to be multi colored.

Reeffarmers acquired our seed of this coral directly from Steve Garrett of Garret's Acropolis right after the Las Vegas CFM Coral Show. Prior to that seed harvesting, Steve had only distributed two frags of this coral. The first frag was to a private collector who named the coral after his daughter Daniela. The second frag was distributed to a coral farmer where it was developed into a high end named collector Acro.

Steve Tyree is maintaining a seed section of this coral for Reeffarmers within a 7 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In Steve's captive reef the coral is positioned to receive moderate to strong light levels from a 400 watt 20,000 K Radium metal halide. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold through Facebook. List price was $225.00 . Reeffarmers is also selling a second edition small fragment through the web site.
