This was a rare and very high end Acropora when it first came out. Close examination of the images here illustrate why. Tissue areas exposed to light will develop red and pink pigmentation. Branch tips develop yellow green pigments. A very colorful coral once it has been colored up completely. The growth morphology is also interesting with its elongated corallites. The UV image below illustrates the exotic pigment nature in the branches and also there appears to be pigments in the polyps.

Reeffarmers acquired our seed section directly from Garrets Acropolis after attending Macna 2016 in San Diego. Steves incredible collection of coral also includes some high end rare corals. This trip was a perfect opportunity for Reeffarmers to make some of the Acropolis Corals, LE Corals. This coral was one of a group of 6 that both Reeffarmers and Steve Garrett selected. The price points were set by Reeffarmers and Garrett's Acropolis. Originally this coral was the Reef Raft USA Limitless, but we decided to call it the Acropolis Limitless. There were a few reasons for this, but the main reason was due to some current legal battles and threats concerning attaching the Reef Raft trademark to any coral in the US. And the last message or communication that Reeffarmers received from Reef Raft USA was, remove all my corals from your site. That is why all those previous Reef Raft USA pages were all permanently deleted in 2014. Garrett originally acquired this coral from Cylix (former IEMAS president), while Cylix was relocating to Spokane Washington. Garrett held the coral and was able to get a fragment to Cylix after relocation.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 7 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive moderate light and moderate water current. The first edition fragment of this coral is being offered currently through Facebook and our email list. List price for the small fragment is $145.

Acropolis Limitless Reeffarmers Actual Seed Fragment Black Light Image.
This black light image illustrates the exotic pigment nature within this coral.
Most Acropora only fluoresce green under UV light if they fluoresce at all.
Exotic collector corals like this however have some very diverse and interesting pigments.
