A very hardy and thick Tenuis that has a dominant ice blue sea foam coloration. Polyp bases are colored pink with tentacle tips colored ice blue. Inner corallite edges can also develop pink pigments, which may be due to contact grafting from the pink polyps. Corallite walls and edges contain dark blue pigments. In unfavorable conditions the coral can brownout, but will redevelop its bright coloration once conditions become favorable again.

The Jadis Tenuis was named and developed by Law Office Aquariums. It is named after the ice witch in Narnia. Originally acquired in 2013-2014 as a brownish Tenuis with brown polyps. The coral began to show some interesting characteristics, but suffered through some alkalinity issues. It was eventually placed in a frag tank connected to the oldest established LOA reef tank where it began to blossom. It first developed a thick stalk colored sea foam blue with radiating branches. Then the pinkish corallites and polyps developed. Reeffarmers acquired our seed section directly from Law Office Aquariums who shipped a seed fragment direct to our shop in Texas.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive moderate light and moderate water current. The first edition fragment of this coral was auctioned by Law Office Aquariums on 11/18/17-11/19/17. The auction occurred in the Facebook groupOfficial SPS Frag Swap Page. The sales price was $100.
